“It is a great privilege to join the Momentum initiative as both principal and guest artist; the pianist Joseph Middleton invited me as a young artist for a performance and CD recording project in February, and then in April I had the chance to pay it forward by inviting a Momentum collaborator, cellist Ashok Klouda, to join me as principal artist--again with fabulous collaborator Joseph Middleton as part of Leeds Lieder. Our industry has taken a huge hit, so we have the responsibility to support each other whenever we can! There will be more opportunities for all of us later if we are generous with our platforms now.”
